Thinking of writing a book? Whether you’re contemplating a novel, a memoir, or a collection of stories, embarking on a book-length manuscript of prose can be daunting. We’ll explore some compelling openings and learn how writers (including Pat Conroy) went on to write the book. We’ll also discuss strategies for getting rolling and keeping going. Every participant will also define the shape of the book you want to write and compose an opening. Open to all experience levels.
