Most immediately, panelists will consider Conroy's relationship to specific religions, including Catholicism, the faith he was born into, and Judaism, a faith that fascinated him from boyhood...
The new anthology Our Prince of Scribes: Writers Remember Pat Conroy shares the heartfelt remembrances of 67 writers inspired and influenced by Conroy over the arc of their own writing lives. This special dinner event invites guests to share a meal and memories with more than 20 of those contributing writers—including Conroy family members and longtime friends.

The ninth annual Pat Conroy Literary Festival will be held November 1-2, 2024, in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina. Join us as we honor Pat Conroy’s legacy as student, teacher, and mentor through our 2024 festival.
Presented by the Pat Conroy Literary Center the annual festival will be held as a series of author presentations and panel discussions, writing workshops, exhibits, and virtual tours.
