This course reveals the process and techniques a professional storyteller uses for creating a multimedia documentary. From deep research and preparation to crafting the interview to sequencing and editing. Learn how to tell stories in a more compelling and engaging way. See how the instructor interviewed a dozen of Pat Conroy’s closest colleagues, friends, and family beginning with the simple question: “What’s your favorite Pat Conroy story?” This course revolves around that project.
This 90-minute course is offered during the Pat Conroy Literary Festival in partnership between the Pat Conroy Literary Center and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at USCB. Open to all OLLI members; registration will begin in the fall at https://olli.uscb.edu
