Join other writers to identify the literary magazines and journals most receptive to your writing. This workshop, for fiction writers, poets, essayists, and reviewers at all levels from beginner to professional, will help you submit a manuscript that gets noticed. In addition to locating the best venues for your work, we’ll look at submission guidelines, write cover letters, and commiserate over the odds—even as we strategize how to beat them. All writers, even the most esteemed, are well-practiced at rejection, but we’ll aim for acceptance and a payment check.
This is an in-person writers workshop, held at the Pat Conroy Literary Center as part of the annual Pat Conroy Literary Festival. Limited to 20 participants; $45/person.
